My Story
Where I came
from & why I shoot
I was born in Hokkaido, Japan, and grew up between the Gold Coast and California before making Melbourne home in 2022. Growing up across different cultures gave me an appreciation for people, connection, and the moments that bring us together.

Growing up, my family documented everything. Birthdays, family gatherings, school events, holidays. There was always a camera nearby. Looking back, those photos became some of our most valuable possessions. They captured moments that seemed ordinary at the time but became more meaningful with every passing year.
I picked up my first camera as a teenager and quickly fell in love with storytelling through images. While building a career in marketing, photography remained a constant passion and eventually became something I wanted to pursue more seriously.
Today, I photograph weddings, engagements, families, events, and businesses across Melbourne and beyond. My goal is simple: to create natural, timeless images that help people remember how a moment felt, not just how it looked.
